Obituary for Robert J "Bob" Sobotta
Passed peacefully with his family by his side on April 6, 2017 at the age of 75. Bob was the beloved husband of 50 years to Ann (Lisowski), beloved father of Cheryl Massman (Ron) and Steven Sobotta and beloved grandpa of Logan and Kayla Massman.
Bob was born in Arcadia, WI on January 18, 1942 to Conrad and Esther (Kokott). After graduating from Arcadia High School, Bob moved to South Milwaukee and worked for Cooper Industries. Bob enjoyed using his Ford tractor to landscape, classic cars, playing cards and visiting with his family and friends. He was a very proud grandfather.
He is survived by his siblings Diane Servais and Dave Sobotta (Rita) along with sister and brother in-laws and nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his parents and step father, Joseph Gandera. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 11 at Divine Mercy in South Milwaukee from 9 to Noon. Funeral will follow at Noon. Entombment Holy Sepulcher Cemetery.
