BUCHHOLZ, CYNTHIA ("CINDY JOHNSON”) LYNN

Of Franklin, WI, went to be with Jesus, on March 7, 2017 at the age of 67 yrs, at Vitas Hospice Unit, The Lutheran Home, after a struggle with Lymphoma Non Hodgkin’s brain cancer. She was surrounded by her immediate family. Loving wife to; Edward Buchholz. Beloved parent to; Cindy (Brian) Holbrook, & Brad Buchholz. Adoring "Nana" (Grandma) to; Joseph Schneider, Dr. Cassandra Schneider, Gabrielle, J.J., Adam, Mercy, Hannah Holbrook, Braden, Austin, Carson Buchholz. Cherished "Gigi" (great grandma) to: Aidyn & Alaina Schneider. She was further blessed by her sisters Marilyn (Earl) McClintock, and Sharon (John) Stephens, multiple nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.

Cindy was born May 7, 1949 in Chicago, Ill. To Wilbur and Beulah (Lyle) Coburn. Cindy and Ed were married March 16, 2005. They took joy in working together side by side at CareerTrac Professional Group. They enjoyed cruising and traveling the world together. Their most precious times were spent vacationing in Bonita Springs, FL. Their summer weekends were spent boating, on Lake Nagawicka (Delafield, WI). They served as Ushers together both at Elmbrook Church, Brookfield, WI and Redeemer Church Milwaukee, WI. She was also the communion "set-up leader” at Redeemer Church, (Milwaukee, WI) and participated in a group bible study, with Ed.

Cindy attended Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, ILL (1967-1970), Business Administration. She was a Personnel Manager at Reinhart, Boerner, Van Deuren, Norris & Rieselbach S.C. (1984-1987), and a Certified Personnel Consultant at Butterfield's II (1987-1991). In June of 1991, she founded CareerTrac Professional Group as an executive recruiter specializing in referring lawyers, managers, administrative and support staff to the legal professional and certain other business sectors. She actively owned and operated this business until September 2016, when she suddenly was diagnosed with Lymphoma Non Hodgkin’s brain cancer. Cindy was a self motivated executive with an exceptional work ethic and commitment to her profession. She was not only dedicated, dynamic, respected, but she was a relationship builder. Many of her initial candidates became life-long friends.

She was a member of Wisconsin Association of Legal admin (WALA), right up to the time of her illness. She served on the Advisory Board of MATC legal programs, member of the Waukesha Chamber of Commerce, Human Resource Management Association (HRMA), Wisconsin Association of Personnel Services (WAPS), past member of the Women's Business Owners Network, (WBON), and National Association of Personnel Services (NAPS).

The family extends a special thank you to the staff at Froedert Memorial Hospital staff, especially the CFAC unit (7th floor), Golden Living-Heritage Square, and the Vitas Inpatient Hospice Unit at The Lutheran Home. We will carry you in our hearts, always, for the Compassion, and care that you provided to Cindy, us.

Visitation will be held at Redeemer Church (7735 W. Howard Ave., Milwaukee, WI 53220) on Saturday, March 11, 2017 from 12:30PM-2:00PM.
Memorial Service will be held at church on Saturday at 2:00PM.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to: The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (200 Executive Dr. Brookfield, WI 53005) in Cindy’s honor.
