Obituary for Irma T. Moll (Saavedra)

Irma T. Moll (Saavedra)
Moll, Irma (nee Saavedra) entered eternal life on December 19, 2016 at the age of 68 years. Born in San Antonio, Texas and the daughter of her beloved parents Joe B. and Pauline (nee Gonzales) Saavedra. United in marriage to the love of her life, the late William “Bill” Moll on July 19, 1975. Survived by their two sons Joe (Tina) Moll and James (Tammy) Moll, 17 wonderful grandchildren and 12 precious great-grandchildren, and our late angel. She is further survived by her two brothers Henry (Carol) and Paul (Wendy) Saavedra, two sisters Anna Burr and Josie Flores.

Irma was joined with her brothers and sisters, Sunny the serious brother, Tony the fun brother who also fought in the Korean War who was always making us laugh, and Tommy the little brother, and four sisters, Renie the proper one, Mary who took over as sister mother when I was only nine, Lil who wore her short-shorts winter or summer and loved canning, Loli the interior decorator and fashionista, and our little angel grandson Jamie.

Special thanks go to my nephews, Jr for calling me every week and sending me flowers on every special occasion, Raymond for calling and texting me twice a week just checking up on me, Bo who calls while driving to Houston to purchase merchandise for his store, and Tommy who called once a month to check on me, also my two nieces Dorothy and Jana who have my back always (your calls and thoughts were very precious). Ed you know that Bill and I consider you as a son, thank you for always being there for us. Father Mike from St. Wendelin thank you for praying for Bill and I, you are a very special priest. My brother Paul for helping the care of our boys and also Henry for serving our country in Vietnam. Carol and Wendy for keeping me in your prayers.

Joe and Jim you are more than we could ever have ever expected as sons, from two little boys to such wonderful men. Helping Mom and Dad at a time we needed you the most. Thank you for all your love-you have no idea how much love we have for both of you.

Tammy and Tina, thank you for being such great daughter-in-laws. If we had girls, we would have wanted them exactly like you. How can we not love you, you love our sons and that is a blessing.

A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Divine Mercy Catholic Church (800 Marquette Ave. South Milwaukee) on Friday, January 20, 2017 at 10:30AM with Father Bob celebrating.
