Obituary for Lorraine M. Fuhreck (Holschen)

Fuhreck, Lorraine M.
(nee Holschen) Entered eternal life at the age of 89. She was born on May 29, 1926 to Henry and Helen Holschen in Brown Deer, Wisconsin. She attended Zion Grade School and South Milwaukee High School. After graduation from high school Lorraine joined the Cadet Nurse Corp during WWII where she earned her nursing degree. She worked in the field of nursing, where caring for others came very naturally to her, until she was 80 years old. Lorraine enjoyed sewing, quilting, baking and activities at the Senior Center. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in South Milwaukee. She focused her life on her family and her faith.
Lorraine was the loving mother of Carol (Kim) Cummings and John (Gina) Fuhreck, grandmother of Joshua (Nyssa), Mitchell, Craig (Katie), Kyle (Michelle), and great-grandmother of Mason and Harrison. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, dear friend Jewell, and many other friends who will miss her.
Visitation will be April 14, 2016 from 9:30AM until time of service at 11:00AM at Zion Lutheran Church. 2220 9th Ave. South Milwaukee. Memorials can be made in Lorraine's name to Zion Lutheran Church or the Grobschmidt Senior Center.
