Obituary for James E. Keane

Keane, James E. “Jim” died April 8, 2017 at the age of 86 years. Loving husband of 61 years to Betty (nee Stack). Further survived by many nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Kathryn; brother, John; and sister, Mary Jin.

Jim graduated from Cudahy High School. He enlisted in the Air Force and served in the Korean War. Returning home, he partnered with Jerry Tutaj to run Jim and Jerry’s Auto Repair in South Milwaukee. During that time they also successfully built and sponsored late model stock cars for racing on the USAC circuit. Jim finished his work career at UPS along with farming in Oak Creek.

Visitation will be on Monday, April 17, 2017 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 3775 E. Cudahy Avenue, from 9:00AM-11:00AM. Funeral service at church to follow. Interment at Arlington Cemetery.
