Obituary for Lucy A. Kleman

Lucy Kleman (nee Laska) passed away peacefully on Friday, February 10, 2017 at the age of 88 years. She was the loving wife of Alfred Kleman for 68 years. Beloved mother of Alan (Joanne), Ronald (Marianne) and Paulette (Dennis) Koziol. She missed Alfred daily since his passing in March 2015. Cherished grandmother of Dr. Ariel Kleman, MD and David Koziol. Lucy was born in Bevent, Wisconsin, September 8, 1928. She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Martha (Gaber) Laska. Also preceded in death by her brothers Roman, Stanley, Tony, Chester, Ervin, Hubert and Joseph Laska Jr., and her sisters Ester (Clifford) Kolpack and Annette (Charles) Gilbert. Lucy is survived by her brother Richard (Lillian) and sisters Agnes (Stanley) Czudec, Ceil (Ronald) Gorski, Marian (Phillip) Cherek and further survived by one brother-in-law, three Sisters-in-law and other relatives and friends. Lucy was an accomplished cook, homemaker and enjoyed sewing, traveling and bowling. Lucy and Alfred travelled to nearly every state in the country and enjoyed volunteering their time at church festivals and Fish Frys. She also reveled in her grandchildren’s accomplishments and character. Visitation on Wednesday, February 15 at Divine Mercy Parish (800 Marquette Ave., South Milwaukee) from 10:00AM with a Mass at 12:00PM.
