Obituary for Jonathan Lee "Jon" Kunda

Kunda, Jonathan L. “Jon” Age 55 of Sun City, AZ, formerly of South Milwaukee, WI. August 10, 1961 – September 5, 2016. Jon is preceded in death by his father, Casimer (Casey) Kunda, step-father, Leo (Dick) Cournoyer, and step brothers, Dennis and James Cournoyer. Jon is survived by his mother, Josephine Cournoyer of Sun City, AZ; sisters: Peggy (Walter) Clark and Carol (John) Rehak; step sisters: Deborah (Bill) Butler, Cheryl (Paul) Gordon, Denise Schindler, and aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends. Jon was a loyal son, brother, and uncle, he was also a Green Bay Packer Fan, greatly enjoyed the Rolling Stones, aviation and WWII history. We will miss Jon’s wise-crack jokes, celebrity impersonations, dry sense of humor and sweet, sensitive personality. Jon will be remembered for his culinary arts skills, willingness to pitch in, hard work ethic and love of music. He will be deeply missed. Jon was previously employed at Banner Tool Service, AZ; Badger Truck Center WI; Turf Paradise, AZ and Denali Park Lodge Alaska. Recently, Jon greatly enjoyed volunteering at Banner Boswell Medical Facility as a records clerk and logged 1,000+ hours of service. A Celebration of Jon’s Life will be held on October 15, 2016 (2pm-5pm) at the South Milwaukee Yacht Club, 101 Marshall Avenue in South Milwaukee, WI. Visitors are encouraged to wear Green Bay Packer-wear. Private interment at Forest Hill Memorial Park in Oak Creek, WI.
